What is plant based dinnerware?

You've heard the phrase plant based a lot lately but it's usually related to consumables such as food. And so now you're probably wondering how on earth (pun not intended) does it relate to dinnerware right? Well let me give you a quick run down...

What are they actually made of?

All of our products to date are made of a bio plastic called PLA.

PLA is short for Polylactic acid which is made from all renewable sources such as corn starch, bamboo and other vegetables.

Environmental Benefits

We are not only made of renewable resources which means no production of synthetic ingredients and less carbon emissions but the best part is that we're fully compostable and biodegradable which reduces landfill for future generations, as opposed to plastic and stone dinnerware which can sit in the earth for over 1,000 years.

Health Benefits

All Daisy Graze products contain no melamine, BPA, PVC, phthalates, lead or mercury. Even the resin that binds it all together is food grade.

It's also very lightweight so less strain on the elbows and wrists getting them in and out of the dishwasher and cupboards everyday.

Is it reusable though?

Of course! They are made to be dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe so you can use them again and again.

Other Benefits

They look and feel amazing, you'll love looking at them everyday instead of the tacky character filled dinnerware you've been pulling out for the kids.
